Awesome!!!!
Did you do these vacation diaries when your sons were little?
They are great!

Thank you!

No, I only started doing these in 2003 with my first all-adult trip to our favorite cabin on the lake in Maine. (I did one--sorta--later that same year when I visited my youngest son--then twenty-one--in Dublin.) My other-than-day-job art "career" didn't really start happening til my sons were all grown-up and out of the house. That's when I had more time for me!.... ;-)

Fabulous! I've been looking forward to this :-) I'm glad you squeezed in both Wiscasset and Boothbay Harbor.

Oh! You were part of the pressure I described!... ;-)

Wiscasset seems more upscale in it's "shops" are mostly antique dealer. But we enjoy "looking" (though the merchants may not be). Their gallery was great! We'd certainly seen our share of seascape, boats and seagull motifs in paintings during our visit--many "not-so-good"! But this place had some very creative and high-quality examples. Wiscasset's General Store was a museum in itself! All the historical sights were not open during the week so we peaked around "outside".

We did however check out an old fort on the other side of the river.

Boothbay Harbor will require "another visit" for sure!

And not recorded in my diary was a day trip to Damariscotta. Walking their downtown. Galleries and shops.

So yeah! We squeezed in a LOT!

thanks for sharing!

You're welcome! But like I said, these are as much for my fans as they are for me!

Thanks, Jo!

Diversity in our art--graphics or writing or music--that's where all the fun is!... ;-)
